According to AZEdNews.com, "Since 2009, local revenue – including school bonds and overrides – has provided much more funding for Arizona public schools than state revenue has. That contrasts sharply with most states, where state revenue makes up a much more substantial amount of public school funding than local revenue does." (article: bit.ly/azed-2022)

Arizona has remained either 48th or 49th in the country for statewide spending on education. School bonds and budget overrides have been the only path to additional--and critical-- funding for our schools. We stand with educators and education advocates in supporting ALL proposed budget overrides on the November 5 ballot. Our kids are counting on voters to ensure that they have what they need and deserve.
