The Worker Power Leadership School is a one-month training program in Phoenix, AZ for future leaders in progressive politics. Modeled on the labor colleges of the 1930s, the Leadership School brings together the best traditions of union organizing, political campaigning, and worker education.

 

Students participate in a trainings modeled on UNITE HERE Local 11’s program for union organizers; work as canvassers on Worker Power’s electoral campaign; and attend daily classes with the nation's leading activist academics on the past, present, and future of the labor movement.

 

The inaugural Leadership School ran in 2022, and it was a resounding success. Now, we are gathering a new group of dedicated students who want to work together to think beyond the next political cycle and build a new future for progressive politics. Join us!
